It's well and truly holiday season. I'm seeing so many holiday snaps online and I, myself have just come back from a beautiful break in Cuba, which there will be a blog post all about my amazing time there. So, having said that, I thought I'd share some tips that make packing light work.
Plan it. Plan what you are going to pack a week in advance to avoid last minute rushing. This will give you a good idea how your suitcase will look and it will also give you enough time to pick up any last minute items you may need. Don't chance it and leave it to the last minute as you will end up overpacking.
Roll it. You'd be amazed at how much you can fit in your suitcase just by rolling your garments. Give it a try next time and be prepared to be amazed at how much space you'll have.
Size matters. Buy travel-sized toiletries to save space and weight. Alternatively, you can purchase empty travel sized bottles and pour existing facial products into them to carry with you on your travels.
Versatility is key. You don't need to pack an outfit for each day, instead pack versatile items that you know are interchangeable.
Easy access. Pack electronics and chargers in hand luggage last to make it easier for you to find once you reach your hotel.
Three is the magic number. When it comes to footwear it can be hard to decide which ones you should carry, but I think you shouldn't really need more than 3 pairs of shoes. Bring a comfortable pair of sliders for beach days, a cute pair of sandals for days out and a pair of heels for a night out.
If you have any tips I haven't stated, don't hesitate to share them below...
