Head down to the Victoria and Albert Museum to view the existing collection of balenciaga's pieces iniated by Cecil Beaton in the seventies and the largest in the UK, showing over 100 garments alongside catwalk footage, short films, archive sketches and x-rays of his couture designs.

Like a bit of lace, do ya? well, you may be interested in finding out the history of lace and how it's made. The lace in fashion exhibition is the culmination of a 2 year project to catalogue the museum's extensive archives of lace dating from the 1500s to the present day.
