If you've clicked on this post it could only be for the simple reason that your blog isn't where you'd like it to be and you're feeling disheartened about it. Before you think about quitting, you should consider these three reasons...
1. You're not consistent
Do you post once in a blue moon? if so, stop that! find out the reason why this is and come up with a solution. It doesn't matter how good your blog is, if you are inconsistent eventually you audience will find another blog to visit, that's more consistent with producing content.
I, too, struggle with this at times and it's nothing to do with a lack of ideas, more to do with not leaving myself enough time to execute them but that's something i'm currently working on. So, expect to see frequent posts, guys :)
2. You don't promote your blog enough
If you're not vocal about your blog, how is anyone going to know about it? no doubt you worked hard on it so, why be scared to show the world what you've produced? promote your blog more and you will definitely see your views increase. There are great social management apps such as buffer that can help when it comes to promoting your blog posts, it allows you to pick what day and time you would like to schedule your post to go out and automatically does it for you. I seriously don't know what i would do without it.
3. Your posts are not useful
Take a look at your blog and honestly ask yourself if your blog posts are useful. If they are, continue doing, what you're doing but if not, ask yourself how you can make them more useful...maybe ask your audience what they would like to see from you on your social networks? you can also have a look at your analytics and make a note of what posts gained the most attention. Pay attention to the clues your audience give you.
Until next time x
