I'm sure you are all aware that father's day is coming up and hopefully you've bought your gifts and wrapped them already. But if not, don't worry, you still have time. Ready to see my suggestions?
Is your dad a car fanatic? if so, why not buy him tickets for the Transport Festival, where there will be over 1000 classic, contemporary and rare cars on show.
If that's not really his thing, how about taking him on a tour of London Fields Brewery where he can find out about the beer making process in depth
Marvin Gaye fan? you need to get him tickets to see 'Soul' it's a play about Marvin's life right up until his untimely death. I had to pleasure of seeing soul at the Royal and Derngate two weeks ago and it was worth every penny! for other plays check out The National Theatre, West End Theatre and The Lyceum Theatre
Not sure where to take your dad for dinner? i suggest: Cottons and Jamie's Italian, Both have a laid back atmosphere and the food is really tasty! If your dad is a vegan check out Redemption and 222 Veggie Vegan or why not cook for him instead?
For the sports lovers, there are a few museums worth seeing; Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum, The World Rugby Museum, Marylebone Cricket club Museum, Chelsea Football Club Museum and The Arsenal Museum.Go on, make his day ;)
The Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew are 250 years old, but you wouldn't know that by look at them. You're guaranteed to have a great time with so much to do and see. Providing the weather's fine, you can go for a stroll around the gardens. You can also take the Tree Top Walkway where you get a bird's eye view of some of the park's centuries old trees and if you're feeling peckish after all that walking, take a break and have afternoon tea.
Taste of London
If your dad is a foodie he will greatly appreciate tickets to the Taste of London festival where he will be able to sample dishes from the likes of; Sushisamba, Vanilla Black, Bubbledogs and many more
Why not have a chill day catching up at a beer garden? there's plenty great ones dotted around london- The Avalon, The Albion, The Alwyne Castle and The Spaniards Inn.
Silverstone Driving Experience
I was going to suggest the Silverstone tour until i found out that it is indeed sold out for the big day but all is not lost as you can book him a driving experience which is pretty cool!
Lee Valley White Water Centre
If he's a thrill seeker take him to the Lee Valley White Water Centre to ride the rapids down the 300-metre olympic course.
What will you be doing for Father's Day?
