Last month i attended the British Society of Cinematographers expo for the first time. It was held at the Battersea Evolution. Although i've never been to Pinewood Studios (the events previous home) i believe this was the perfect venue for the expo as it was very spacious. Also, due to the location it was easy to travel to with plenty transport available (they even provided a shuttle bus). I hope they decide to hold next years expo there.
The BSC Expo is the premier showcase for the latest products for the film and television industry. Visitors are able to meet with international manufactures and suppliers of the latest camera equipment, lighting equipment, production services and facilities, visual effects, sound equipment and a variety of the latest technologies as well as informative panel discussions all under one roof!
There were so many stands, unfortunately i wasn't able to visit them all. But the few i did visit were great, i was able to ask questions and get in depth answers and demos. A lot of the major suppliers had their equipment on display so you could have a hands on experience of their products.
